(Newser) – Tyra Banks is pulling an Oprah: The Tyra Show host will end her daytime talk show—which brought everything from televised colonics to Tyra in her bathing suit to America's living rooms—at the end of this season to focus on a film studio she’s starting. “I’ve been loving having fun” during her five years on the show, Banks tells People, but “my next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are.”

Bankable Studios, which Banks will turn her attention to once her show ends in spring 2010, aims to bring “positive images of women to the big screen,” says an insider. Banks, whose talk show won two Daytime Emmys, will still be prominently featured on the small screen thanks to reality competition America’s Next Top Model and ABC show True Beauty.
