Here’s the surest sign yet that Barack Obama is an evil foreign-born socialist: He might delay the Lost premiere. ABC’s been feverishly promoting the Feb. 2 premiere since November, so when word broke yesterday that Barack Obama might push the State of the Union address back to Feb. 2 in the hopes of having a health care bill to show off, Lost fans went nuts, the Washington Post reports.

Fans have stormed the Internet to complain, even launching a #NoStateofUnionFeb2 Twitter tag. One trade reporter at Variety suggested that Ari Emanuel, whose agency represents show producer Carlton Cuse, call his brother Rahm to “fix this.” ABC says it won't change its schedule until the White House officially announces a date change from the original Jan. 26. Forgotten in the furor: either date would bump American Idol. (More Lost stories.)
