'Shameless' Karl Rove Wrong on Budget

White House honcho blasts defense of Bush

(Newser) – David Axelrod is amazed by the “sheer audacity and shamelessness” of Karl Rove’s claims about rampant spending under the Obama administration. The former Bush aide predicted last week that congressional Democrats “will run up more debt by October than Bush did in 8 years.” That would be a feat, Axelrod writes. Does Rove recall that the Bush administration “added more debt in its 8 years than all the previous administrations in the history of our republic combined?”

Thanks to "the breathtaking scope of this irresponsibility," the Bush administration's "unpaid-for policies will continue to add trillions to our deficit," Axelrod writes in the Washington Post. It took a $236 billion budget surplus with a projected 10-year surplus of $5.6 trillion and turned it in to a $1.3 trillion deficit with a prediction of an $8 trillion shortfall for the next decade by enacting costly tax cuts and prosecuting two wars “without paying for any of it.”

There's an old saying that everyone is entitled to his own opinions, but not his own facts. The next time Karl Rove would like to offer us some advice, I'd urge him to take that to heart. - David Axelrod

Right-wing IRONY---->"Spoken like a true liberal racist hater" Really? What part of my post, exactly, was liberal racist hatred? What false claims or untruths or exaggerations have I used? And you calling me a liberal racist hater, is NOT an example of BOTH GOP hatred and HYPOCRISY? From WhatTha original reply ... "He is not capable of carrying out the duties he took an oath to fulfill." And you have determined this -WITHOUT prejuduce, WITHOUT GOP talking points cliff notes- how? Again, you chose to reply, but answer NOT ONE question. You sound like Palin -"I'm not going to answer you question , Joe, I'm gong to answer the question 'real Americans' want me to answer." Care to answer ANY of the questions posted to you? DO you like facts? FYI, facts are for 'elitists'. Elitists', unlike your $100K-per-speaking-engagement Palin. Right-wing strategy--->Do you have any answers or will you just throw attacks, and NOT answer a thing?

I think "The Architect" has been exposed for the fraud that he is since leaving the Bush admnistration. He's a know-nothing faker, whose only skill is that of talking bullshit and politics of the dirtiest and lowest order.
