Palins Score $100K for Tabloid Cover

And Bristol 'guarantees' she's going to stay a virgin this time

(Newser) – Sarah Palin continues to clean up in her post-public-servant life, pulling in $100,000 for her mother-daughter appearance on the cover of In Touch magazine with Bristol and both of their babies, the New York Post says. This on top of her $100,000 speaking fees—including the Tea Party convention she's headlining—and her new Fox deal.

The story, which focuses on how they've faced the challenges posed by these babies, features Bristol saying that she's really, really not going to have sex (again) until marriage—"I can guarantee it"—which the Post can't resist calling "a classic example of closing the stable door after the horse has bolted."

Ok, I agree with everything except the way it appears you are trying to blame the parents for the daughter's actions. I had a baby at 19 (he is the most awesome 17 year old now) and I have to say NONE of that was my parents fault. I made the choices, no supervision (unless it was 24/7) could have stopped m from doing what I wanted. I do not think Palin is at fault for her daughter's poor judgements but se could be a better role model now and not use those babies as money makers. Being a mom at any age is tough (I am now 36 with 5 month old twins as well as my 17 year old) but it is MUCH harder at 19, Bristol should focus on that!!!

How sad that a sick ideology is going to make a young woman lose out on the joys of sex in her prime. OR, if she "slips up" (as any normal young person SHOULD) she'll suffer the agony of another unwanted pregnancy or unwanted publicity or an unwanted marriage!! Stupidity in the name of politics (and power-hunger). SICK!
