(Newser) – For every celebrity willing to pose naked in a PETA ad, there’s one who is equally willing to flaunt fur clothing all over town. The Frisky rounds up PETA’s 10 worst enemies:

  • Kelis: The singer recently accused PETA of being “the death of fashion.”
  • Lindsay Lohan: The actress was famously doused with flour by a PETA activist.
  • Kate Moss: Though PETA is no fan of Moss when she wears fur, the organization does like the fur-free line she designed for Topshop.
  • Paris Hilton: Another celeb who got “floured” by PETA—and she uses pets as accessories, too.
  • Victoria Beckham: She wears fur and leather. Enough said.

I don't get it...if they hate these people for wearing fur so much, why not go to the nearest McDonalds and throw red paint at people there? THEY are doing something which necessitated the death of an animal by eating a Big Mac, why not harp on them? Why pick on celebrities, or for that matter, why pick on fashion in general? Is it okay to eat animals but not wear them? That's what I hate about 'save the poor animals!' movements...they are rarely, if ever, logically or ethically consistent.

Uuuuum, PETA does go after fast food. Ever been to their website? Heard of the "Unhappy Meal" stunt? Did you catch the self-contradiction in your statement? Why do they pick on fashion/they are never ethically consistent? Geez, man...
