(Newser) – You might not be on the invite list to grab a first look at what will likely be Apple’s rumored tablet device, but the Wall Street Journal is. The paper reports that it just received an invite to the Jan. 27 San Francisco event where the computer maker will unveil “our latest creation.” For the sake of the sanity of all involved, it'd better be that tablet.

Sal: i do programming for a living, and i can honestly say that i'm about twice as productive since switching to a mac, largely because everything runs so much faster.

yeah, the demonetization of Bill Gates is a bit much sometimes. most home 's have PCs in them today because microsoft delivered, and for years windows blew apple out of the water with a better operating system. i started using a Mac this last year, because Mac's pulled ahead (faster, more stable, more user friendly). but the two companies have pushed each other and we're both better off because of it.
