Scott Brown: My Daughters Are Available

Glenn Beck calls him 'creepy,' thinks he might kill an intern

(Newser) – Scott Brown embarrassed the crap out of his daughters last night, when he declared in his acceptance speech that, “for anyone watching around the country, they’re both available.” As the daughters’ jaws dropped, Brown assured the crowd that he was kidding. “Arianna’s definitely not available,” he said. “But Ayla is!” He then helpfully pointed out which mortified girl was Ayla (a former American Idol contender, video here), in case any prospective catches were watching.

The gaffe was so bad that Glenn Beck spent a solid five minutes on his radio show making fun of the Republican hero of the moment and calling him creepy. “I want a chastity belt on this man. I want his every move watched in Washington,” he said. “This one could end with a dead intern.”

I have never gotten why the fist bump was considered a travesty for Obama. I just don't get it. Anyone?
