Brangelina Split: Tab

Brad Pitt was a no-show at last night's SAG Awards after he and Angelina Jolie ditched the Golden Globes last week, and rumor mills ranging from British tabs to Hollywood rags are full of breathless reports that Brangelina is no more. The A-listers sought out a Beverly Hills divorce firm (despite not being married, but pish-posh) last month, reports the News of the World, and this month signed paperwork splitting their millions and custody of their brood—though the six little Jolie-Pitts will apparently reside largely with Jolie.

"There's no date for when the contract would come into effect," an anonymous source tells the tab, which notes that the couple has been plagued by a string of gossip centered around a celebrity tell-all, separate appearances, Jolie's comment about fidelity being unnecessary in a relationship, and reports that she slept with a dialect coach in July. A rep for the power couple has denied the report. Stay tuned.
