(Newser) – President Obama has been summoned for jury duty in Illinois, but since he's got a few things on his plate, he's decided not to serve, the White House says. The summons, which arrived at the Obama's home in Chicago's Hyde Park weeks ago, was for duty at the Bridgeview courthouse in suburban Chicago starting today, the AP reports. With his first State of the Union speech set for Wednesday, Obama let the court know he won't be able to make it.
