11 Scandals From Saved by the Bell Tell-All

Dustin Diamond's 'Behind the Bell' offers a behind-the-scenes look

(Newser) – Sam Greenspan read Dustin "Screech" Diamond’s autobiography/Saved by the Bell tell-all Behind the Bell so that you wouldn’t have to. He offers up “the 11 most ridiculous, salacious and lurid sex (and drug) scandals” on 11 Points:

  • Dustin Diamond is a sex god: Yes, he and his large penis seduced more than 2,000 women. Subtext? “I’m not Screech. I’m cool, I follow no man, and women find me irresistible.”
  • Mario “Slater” Lopez raped a girl: And NBC paid her about $50,000 in hush money, Diamond alleges. Greenspan found a Variety article seeming to back this claim up.

  • Everyone did drugs: Diamond waxes philosophical about “all the off-camera drinking and recreational drug use” going on while the cast filmed PSA-like episodes.
  • Tiffani-Amber “Kelly” Thiessen slept with everyone: Apparently she cheated on her guest-star boyfriend with Lopez and Mark-Paul “Zack” Gosselaar.
  • Elizabeth “Jessie” Berkley also slept with everyone: Namely, Lopez and Gosselaar, once Thiessen had stopped.
  • And so did Lark “Lisa” Voorhies: At this point, what did you expect?

If he has had sex with 2000 women as he claims, he should also have claimed that he bedded his co-stars...or not said that everyone else in the cast but him bedded his co-stars.

Why is it that when B rated actors can't go any further, they turn to trashing their co-workers just to make a buck. Get a real job if you need the damn money, writing a tell all book doesn't make you popular, it just makes you a desperate ass.
