US Now Thinks Abdulmutallab Had Accomplice

Man saw to it that Detroit-bound bomber 'did not get cold feet'

(User Submitted) – Though authorities initially downplayed one eyewitness account that the so-called “underwear bomber” had an accomplice with him at Amsterdam’s airport, they’re now hunting for the well-dressed Indian man who was with Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab on Christmas Day. And the reversal seems to have been buried by mainstream media, with Prison Planet digging it out of the second page of the ABC News report about female suicide bombers.

Kurt Haskell’s description was first reported Dec. 26 by Michigan-based MLive.com but received little attention. As ABC noted last week, “Authorities had initially discounted the passenger accounts, but the agents say there is a growing belief the man have played a role to make sure Abdulmutallab ‘did not get cold feet.’”

@Vet - I would dismiss your comment out-of-hand as nonsense were it not for the fact that it took "Prison Planet" to dig this up. Think about that, people. Prison Planet is mostly known for their alarmist hyperbole but it appears they were right on the money in this case, and that scares me, more than a little.

@sidewinder - indeed. That was an amateurish mistake on our part. Who gives Miranda rights to a foreign terror suspect? It's beyond the pale.
