(Newser) – The Obama administration’s plan to try alleged 9/11 terror plotters in a lower Manhattan court bit the dust today, swamped by waves of criticism from politicians from New York to Washington. “New York is out,” a source tells the Washington Post tonight. “We’re considering other options.” Officials are still committed to trying self-proclaimed mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and others in civilian, and not military, court.

ILLUMINATED....I could have said it your way but obviously I didn't choose to. It has nothing to do with being a Christian. RAJAN....I don't pretend anything. I always tell like it is. Like it or not.

They didn't listen. It's still going to be a civilian trial, they just caved when a bunch of their supporters said 'not in my back yard."

1787 would be the summer of importance and it is now 2010? How many years is that of our not living up to our ideals? Egypt went three thousand years without changing a thing--not one thing. The reason we can figure them out cause their first thought and writing was the same three thousand years later. Someone reading the diary of Jefferson and a spit from Jay Z wouldn't understand anything-- in less than 334 years--it's called progress and while it's scary, it is humanity at its finest. And what is an ideal anyway? The two hundred years we had slaves--the fact that women couldn't vote till John Dillenger? That we dropped the only atomic weapons ever dropped--that the whole world has to speak our language--what are our ideals? I love this country but acting like its shit has never stank is pretty, pretty low--your avatar looks like Larry Sanders--why I wrote pretty, pretty. I think he's very attractive.
