Sun Microsystems CEO Jonathan Schwartz is going out in geeky style with a tweeted haiku resignation. Schwartz has been in the crosshairs publicly since the CEO of Oracle, which just acquired Sun, said last week that he expected Schwartz to step down, Mashable reports. “Today’s my last day at Sun. I’ll miss it,” he tweeted, before launching into his poetic offering.

“Financial crisis/Stalled too many customers/CEO no more,” the wordsmith writes. The New York Times reports that Schwartz is the first Fortune 200 chief executive to tweet a resignation. Schwartz, CEO since 2006, is enamored of the Web 2.0 world, and became the first head of a major company to launch his own blog. He also pressured the SEC to give blogs the same footing as press releases and filings when it comes to disclosure. (More Jonathan Schwartz stories.)
