Cabbage Patch CEO Snags Madoff Pad

(Newser) – The guy who brought you Cabbage Patch Kids and Pokemon has snapped up the penthouse apartment of erstwhile Ponzi schemer Bernard Madoff, reports the New York Post. Al Kahn is the CEO of 4Kids Entertainment, and will be calling the 4000-square-foot lux digs in Manhattan's Upper East Side home sweet home. Asking price was reduced from from $9.9 million to $8.9 million; Kahn is thought to have paid just under.

really - money certainly can't buy taste. it IS dark and dingy @jaguarj, and totally uninspiring. where's the some cool pieces of art or where's an eclectic mix dynamic design?

I wasn't familiar with him, but I LOVE IT!!! Cat's got soul to the bone. Be nice to see sumptin' come out of this for him.....he's oozin' talent! BTW, I'm thinkin' of just postin' links to vids that relate to a story.....might keep me oughta trouble, huh? Go back to the story about Linsey Lohan and check out that link.
