Pokes fun at Vancouver weather in taping Report

(Newser) – Comedian Stephen Colbert put his faux feud with Canada to rest today, taping his show in a Vancouver park to cheers from hundreds of locals. “This was a welcome that we could not have imagined … I take back everything I ever said about Canada,” said Colbert, who’d dubbed his northern neighbors “ice-holes,” “syrup-suckers” and “Saskatche-whiners” in the run-up to the Olympics—which he’s attending to watch the US speed-skating team he’s sponsoring.

But before heading off to tonight’s competition, he welcomed NBC’s Bob Costas and former US Olympic hockey player Mike Eruzione to his show, using both to poke fun at the less-than-wintry Games. “You’ve covered Winter Games, Summer Games, (and) whatever season this is,” he observed to Costas; to “Miracle on Ice” hero Eruzione: “What do you think will be the miracle this year? Snow?”

The funny part is... YOU DON'T GET IT! Hes embodying the personalities of all the right-wing blow hards (O'Reilly, Hannity, Beck). You just hate that he does a better job than they do!
