(Newser) – Roger Federer hopes his "good friend" Tiger Woods returns to the golf course soon. "It's been hard to watch from far away but I would love to see him back on the golf course. It is what he does best," the world's top tennis player tells Gulf News. "What's happened to him has been hard to watch over the last three months right down to when he made his apology. I am sure he's headed in a better direction now."

because Rodger Federer's opinion on Tiger's personal decisions really matter...

I would love to see Tiger recommit himself to his family, namely his kids. I think Elin is a lost cause.

well i feel like Tiger is like Michael Jackson. nobody can argue that he is good at what he was doing, whether or not he is a douche. nobody can say that Tiger can't go back because he is disliked. his personal issues should not interfere with whether or not he is good at golf. so play again already, the only thing that people should care about is his golf skills anyway, not whether or not he has marital issues.
