US, Canadian Women Will Play for Hockey Gold
Both steamroll semifinal opponents, will face off Thursday

(Newser) – Haley Irwin scored two goals, Meghan Agosta set an Olympic record with her ninth goal, and Canada beat Finland, 5-0, tonight to secure its long-anticipated gold-medal meeting with the US team—which beat Sweden, 9-1, in an earlier semifinal. Today's victory was the closest call yet for Canada, which has outscored opponents 46-2 entering Thursday's showdown.
