(Newser) – Jerry Seinfeld's driver is in hot water with his former employer: the NYPD. The onetime detective popped a department parking placard into his car's window when he dropped the comedian off in Manhattan this week. But it's a Bronx permit that expired in 2007, reports the Daily News. A Seinfeld rep says it was "an isolated incident" and stresses that Jerry backs the driver "100%" and won't fire him.
