Speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno couldn’t add to his American-Olympic-record total of seven medals tonight at the Vancouver Games, seeing a silver medal in the 500 meters taken away after he was disqualified for apparently pushing a Canadian competitor. Ohno and Francois-Louis Tremblay tangled in the final turn; Tremblay fell but was awarded bronze in the race, won by fellow Canadian Charles Hamelin. (More Apolo Anton Ohno stories.)
