Move represents major policy switch

(NEWSER) - Twitter has apparently decided corporate relations are more important than content. Company officials have announced that they will voluntarily restrict Twitter content in specific countries to comply with government limits on what citizens are allowed to read. "As we continue to grow internationally, we will enter countries that have different ideas about the contours of freedom of expression," Twitter wrote in a blog post yesterday . Golfer succumbs to brain cancer, 'mulligan of my life'

(AP) - Seve Ballesteros, a five-time major champion whose passion and gift for imaginative shot-making invigorated European golf and the Ryder Cup, has died from complications of a cancerous brain tumor. He was 54. A statement on Ballesteros' website early today said the golf great died peacefully at 2:10am local time, surrounded by his family at his home in Pedrena, northern Spain. Ballesteros, a two-time Masters champion and three-time winner of the British Open, was a handsome figure who feared no shot and often played from where no golfer had ever been. More»

(NEWSER) - A long-time investigative reporter at the Washington Post has been suspended for lifting "substantial" portions of articles from an Arizona newspaper for her stories on accused Tucson shooter Jared Lee Loughner. Pultizer Prize-winner Sari Horwitz was suspended for three months for plagiarizing sections of stories from the Arizona Republic, reports the Washington Post . More»
