(NEWSER) - It's not exactly today's most shocking story: A week after his naked hotel antics, Charlie Sheen has filed for divorce from his estranged third wife, Brooke Mueller, citing irreconcilable differences, ABC News reports. The pair married in 2008; Sheen is seeking joint custody of their 1-year-old twin boys. (NEWSER) - Inspired by the controversy Newsweek stirred up when it ran a review slamming Sean Hayes’ portrayal of a straight man in Promises, Promises, CNN offers up a list of 13 actors who have played roles counter to their actual sexual orientation:

• Portia de Rossi: Played it straight on Ally McBeal before anyone knew she was gay, and has continued to play straight roles since coming out—including the flirtatious Bluth sister on Arrested Development.
• TR Knight: His Grey’s Anatomy costar Isaiah Washington famously made a homophobic slur against openly gay Knight, who played a straight doctor on the show.

(NEWSER) - John Forsythe, a versatile actor who gained lasting fame as Blake Carrington on the pioneering prime-time soap Dynasty and as the voice of the mysterious Charlie on Charlie's Angels, died yesterday in California. He was 92. (NEWSER) - The actor who played "Boner" on the '80s family sitcom Growing Pains has been reported missing in Vancouver. Andrew Koenig, 41, the son of Star Trek actor Walter Koenig, was last seen a week ago and missed a flight to the US on Feb. 16, reports USA Today . Koenig's parents and a friend tell TMZ they believe he was suffering from depression. More»

'Saturday Night Live' guest host can't live up to debut but fits in well

(NEWSER) - Jon Hamm's Saturday Night Live debut was an instant classic, which meant hopes were high—perhaps unrealistically so—for last night's second effort. The Mad Men star has no trouble taking off his shirt and "obviously enjoys doing comedy, and so was game for a few silly bits," writes Claire Zulkey of the Onion A.V. Club .
