Seigner says house arrest has upended family

(Newser) – Roman Polanski's wife says his imprisonment and house arrest has crushed her spirit and terrified the couple's two children. "I am no longer such a carefree person," Emmanuelle Seigner told Polish magazine Viva. "I am no longer the same Emmanuelle." Seigner and the children no longer live in the Swiss chalet where the director is under house arrest, but they visit often.

The French actress and singer said she believes "the matter will be solved" but declined to comment on details, the Los Angeles Times reports. Swiss extradition proceedings in Polanski's child sexual abuse case are on hold until courts in California rule on whether he can be sentenced without returning to the US, raising the possibility that the case may not be resolved for months or even years.

SHARON TATE was murdered by the Manson family.
That was why Roman Polanski was single in 1977.
That's what caused the rape case.
Blame the Manson family for the rape case.
Because if Charles Manson had never lived , there wouldn't be
people sentenced to a lifetime in prison.
One of them , Susan Atkins , died in september 2009.
Others are still in jail.
Roman Polanski's life would have been completely different.
Samantha Geimer would not have been raped by Roman Polanski.
American people see everything in Black and White.
Will they ever learn ?
I don't think so.
But i am so happy to be a European.
I'd be ashamed if i were an American.
I love Roman Polanski and there is not one American man
that can stand in his shadow.

Roman rehabilitated while in Europe...he upped his age limit to 15 when he moved Natasha Kinski into
his home...already a 2 year upgrade...he was a young 52...cradle robbing goat!!
