(Newser) – They've won Oscars...now what? The Los Angeles Times reports on what's next for a few Academy Award winners:

  • Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal: The Hurt Locker director and screenwriter are collaborating again on Triple Frontier, a thriller set in South America. Bigelow will also direct the pilot for HBO's The Miraculous Year.
  • Jeff Bridges: "The Dude" will be reunited with the Coen brothers for a remake of True Grit, a western that scored original star John Wayne an Oscar. He also stars in December's Tron sequel, Tron Legacy.
  • Sandra Bullock: Nothing is on her plate yet, but she's considering Bobbie Sue, a legal comedy.

  • Mo'Nique: No new film plans, but she still has a nightly talk show on BET.
  • Christoph Waltz: He'll play the villain in December's Green Hornet, co-starring Seth Rogen.
  • Geoffrey Fletcher: The Precious screenwriter is writing prison drama Attica, as well as working on a project he wants to direct.
  • Pete Doctor: The director of Up is working on another Pixar flick—a sequel to his last hit, Monsters, Inc.
