Watch what your cellphones say to each in Dubai.   (?cochesaurus)

(Newser) – Dubai has lowered the boom—again—on travelers whose behavior runs afoul of the nation's strict morality laws by sentencing a couple to 3 months in prison for sexting. The flirty texts indicated the Indian pair, who work for Emirates airlines, intended to "commit sin," according to court documents. The messages surfaced in divorce proceedings between the woman and her estranged husband, reports the Telegraph. British travelers have recently been sent to prison for kissing in public and purportedly "having sex" on a beach.

What this summary fails to tell you is that these 2 were arreseted in December for supposedly having an affair. She is marred to an Emirate or Dubaian, and he accused of affair in the divorce. They were originally sentenced 6 months and to be deported. Because the had no evidence of an affair, just those texts in the trial, they actually lessened the sentence 3 months and now they can stay in the country if they want. Not that I don't think that is crazy too, or that they should want to stay, but I'm just putting it out there.
