A recent practice round with Tiger Woods proved awkward, a fellow pro golfer says—with Woods seeming nervous to be playing with a PGA Tour colleague for the first time after months of rumor and scandal. “He was a bit rusty,” 2003 British Open champ Ben Curtis said of Woods’ play during the round at his home course in Florida.

“Everybody that tells you that it was the same as before would be kidding themselves,” Curtis tells the AP. “It was obviously a little bit different. When I saw him, no one had actually really seen him in public. I didn’t know him that well before, anyway. But I could see where some of the guys that might have known him pretty well … it might be a little bit different for them now than it was before.”
