(Newser) – Tony Romo was the star last night in an extravaganza that lifted the Cowboys to their fourth victory in a so-far perfect season. Though he passed for 339 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another, Romo's shining moment was recovering a botched snap by running 65 yards for a four-yard gain, the Dallas Morning News reports.

With the score tied at seven and the first half ticking away, Andrew Goude's snap sailed over Romo's head and bounced 25 yards upfield. Romo kicked it three yards farther before securing it and baffling the Rams defenders by scrambling back for the first down. The game was the Cowboys' from that point on, with the defense clamping down and the offense taking off.
