(Newser) – Jim Carrey has become quite the prolific tweeter, but despite his somewhat manic ramblings about everything from Elin Nordegren to Sandra Bullock, he would like to assure you that “This is no breakdown! It’s a breakthrough!” The tweet continues, “If you’ll just loosen these straps, I’ll show you the difference,” PopEater reports. He’s also recently cleared up his Nordegren comments (he doesn’t “condone infidelity”) and acknowledged that he should perhaps “tame” his Twitter feed.

More weird tweets involve Carrey killing his alternate personality: “Breaking News!Jim Carrey's ambassador to the world,is dead!He is survived by me,the actual Jim Carrey, who has opinions about stuff,” he tweeted. “I killed him,I do not plan 2 bow to expectations or to be confined by the fear of losing altitude in the 'statusphere'! (my word).” For even more of his bizarre musings, click here.
