(Newser) – Today's YouTube sensation doesn't feature funny animals, drug-addled kids, or any of the other usual viral video tomfoolery. It's actually kind of a downer. But photographer Michael Deppisch's moving montage of the flooding in Nashville is worth watching anyway. After all, as Mashable points out, amateur disaster videos tend to be blurry cellphone affairs, not high-definition art like this. “This video so captured the heart of this story,” wrote one commenter. “If it doesn't move someone, they should check their pulse.”

The video is well done, but the guy who made it is a climate change denier of the evangelical Christian variety. I'll let you judge whether such people deserve to be flooded. http://www.youtube.com/user/mm...

I am shocked that noone has linked this disaster to Dick Cheney or George W. Busch!

Too easy. Dramatic video, some minor edits, music overlay. Simple.
