(AP Photo/Orkut.com) (Newser) – Turns out Times Square suspect Faisal Shahzad may have been fibbing about that whole acting alone thing. Pakistan has arrested a number of people in connection with the attempted attack, CNN reports. Two or three were arrested in a raid on a home Shahzad is believed to have stayed in during a recent trip to Pakistan. Reports have as many as six people in total being arrested. One of the suspects has been identified as Tausif Ahmed, a friend of Shahzad's who reportedly flew to the US to meet with him 2 months ago, according to the Washington Post. Meanwhile, evidence is mounting against Shahzad. Authorities found a 9mm handgun inside the car he drove to the airport last night. In the trash outside his apartment, they found flash powder and 15 pounds of green fertilizer.
