Lawrence Taylor Charged With Rape of 16-Year-Old

Cops arrest ex-Giants star; he faces felony

(Newser) – Football great Lawrence Taylor was arrested today and charged with third-degree rape, after allegedly having sex with a16-year-old girl. Police say the incident took place earlier today at a hotel in Montebello, New York, the Daily News reports. Taylor is currently in jail, and will be arraigned this afternoon.

The girl, described as a runaway and a prostitute, was treated for a black eye and other injuries. She claims her alleged pimp kept her captive. Taylor is a 51-year-old Hall of Famer; he played for the Giants from 1981 to 1993. He also showed off his footwork last year in Dancing With the Stars.

Another stupid athlete putting himself in a bad situation... Whats a 51 year old even looking at a woman under the age of like 40? If he did rape her I hope they put him in a pound ass prison..Of course we all remember the Duke Lacrosse case,with the reverend Al not so Sharpton out there screaming for justice..Innocent until proven guilty...

Here we go again, How do you describe the solitation of sex rape. If this girl is a prostitute then she was selling her wares, Pimps usually treat their women crudely, Is it right? No, but to charge this man with rape is stupid. How did he know she was a minor, some of these young hookers could pass for my mother. Everybody loves to jump the gun when it comes to a celebrity, check out the list of celeb who are or has been accussed.
As far as the skun that beat her up , he should be under the jail. Also did this girl runaway and take up the trade, who knows, why not text uncle before being taken to the hotel? just wondering what the real facts are. No not a fan, just do not like unjustice until it is all clear
