(Newser) Consumer Reports has lifted the bombshell "Don't Buy" recommendation it dropped on the 2010 Lexus GX 460 SUV, the AP reports. After the software that runs the vehicle's electronic stability control system was updated, the Lexus passed the emergency handling tests it had flunked last month. Toyota recalled thousands of the luxury SUVs and temporarily stopped selling them because of the failed test. Software updates are available at Lexus dealerships.
