NORFOLK, Va. – Coast Guard crews along with York County Fire Department responded to a marina fire at the York River Yacht Haven Marina in Gloucester Point, Va., early Monday morning. At approximately 4:30 a.m., Coast Guard Sector Hampton Roads watchstanders were notified by York County Fire Department of a fire at the marina. At least three vessels have sustained damage due to the fire. York County Fire Department responded on scene and extinguished the fire. A boat crew from Coast Guard Station Milford Haven is currently on scene monitoring the situation. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Read the full article.
