Rapper Lil Wayne is going to have a hard time keeping up with the hip-hop scene during his year in jail. The star was caught with "music contraband" yesterday by authorities at New York City's Riker's Island, a source tells the New York Daily News. Officers acting on a tip searched his cell and confiscated earphones and a charger for an MP3 player, the source says.

Officers found the MP3 player in another inmate's cell on the same wing, according to the source. Lil Wayne and the other inmate will be charged with an infraction and authorities are trying to figure out how the rapper—now 2 months into his sentence for having a loaded gun on a tour bus—managed to smuggle the offending gear inside.
