Miracle? Missing Boaters Found Off Coast of Georgia - after 3 days in the sea

(User Submitted) – 3 boaters were aboard the 20’ vessel, Problem Child, and departed the Mayport Sunday morning, 5/16/10. When they failed to return that evening, a family member contacted the US Coast Guard, who commenced a 2,700 sq mile search over the water. A Good Samaritan come upon the 3 and rescued John J. Navaraz, 32, Elijs Navaraz, 31, and Rebecca Sullivan, 28, after the were located floating in the water, approximately 30-miles east of Brunswick, Ga., Tuesday 5/18/10 at approximately 1 p.m. The Good Samaritan contacted the US Coast Guard via VHF radio channel 16 at the time of the rescue, who dispatched Coast Guard Cutter Yellowfin to transport the 3 survivors to Coast Guard Sector Jacksonville at Mayport.
