Limbaugh: Gore Split Not Very Green

Advocating environmental causes and then separating from his wife makes Al Gore a big fat hypocrite, according to Rush Limbaugh. Limbaugh—who insisted he didn't find the split funny, the Daily Beast notes—pointed to a 2007 study that found divorces put an extra strain on the environment because two households consume more energy and water than one.

"The environmentalist wackos have put this notion up there that divorce contributes to global warming,” the thrice-divorced radio host crowed. “And now, here is Mr. Global Warming, a Nobel Peace Prize winner, contributing to his own crisis."
