Searchers have found seven bodies in the wreckage of a missing skydiver plane and were still seeking three other passengers, the Seattle Times reports. The single-engine Cessna had been transporting nine skydivers from an Idaho event back home to Washington when it went missing Sunday. A hunter in the Cascade Mountains reported hearing a small plane having engine trouble and a possible crash.

The smell of fuel led searchers to the wreck last night. The skydivers were all licensed and the pilot experienced in skydiving trips, according to local airport officials. There were no emergency distress signals from the plane, but it disappeared from radar when the hunter heard the crash, according to transportation officials. (More Cessna stories.)
