Anita Baker sounded less like an eight-time Grammy winner and more like a “dying cat” when she sang the National Anthem at Game 4 of the NBA finals last night. Poor Baker became a trending topic on Twitter, the New York Daily News reports, as shocked fans tweeted things like “y does Anita Baker sound like a dying cat singing the Star Spangled Banner!?” and “I love you Anita Baker but what the hell was that?” (Oh, and the Celtics won to tie the series at 2.)
