(Newser) – Heading to a bachelor party soon? Instead of waking up the next morning wondering, “Do you remember anything?” you might find yourself saying, “Do you remember the agnolotti with the octopus and the pork belly?” More and more soon-to-be brides and grooms are opting to spend their dollar bills on delicacies instead of exotic dancers, the New York Times reports.

The new bachelor and bachelorette parties range from a simple cooking class to a three-hour tasting menu or a seven course, $1000-a-head dinner. Most restaurants seem to like the trend, but one London establishment sends out a code of conduct to potential partiers. Some bachelors, however, are still trying to have it all: Despite the code, one group ordered a stripper dressed as a policewoman.
