Jon Stewart landed yet another sardonic blow on Barack Obama yesterday in a brief segment on Gen. Petraeus, aka the "Buddha of Fallujah," and the Afghan War. After playing a clip in which Obama said Petraeus "will allow us to maintain our momentum," Stewart unloaded no less than 7 clips dating back to December in which Obama declared his intention, over and over, to "break the Taliban's momentum." A confused Stewart said, "Oh. I thought we had the momentum."

Then he played another clip noting that Petraeus...isn't going to change anything. "I think I've discovered a flaw in your strategy," Stewart deadpans. The bit, first spotted by New York magazine, starts at about the 3:57 mark (More David Petraeus stories.)
