Oops! Prof Surfs Porn on Live Teleconference Feed

Professor Surfs Porn During Live Teleconference
   (AP)

Texas Tech professor Rodney "Rod" Hicks gave his students more than they signed on for (or he intended). The 50-year-old health sciences professor taught a class via teleconference from Austin, but didn't terminate the live video feed after the lecture. The professor then proceeded to surf the web for porn, apparently unaware that his activities were being transmitted for any still-connected students to see.

Hicks, whose Texas Tech staff listings says he specializes in pediatrics, had received the University Medical Center Endowed Chair for Patient Safety in 2008. Texas Tech subsequently stripped him of the endowed chair, reports KCBD in Lubbock, Texas, and deleted him from the university website. He was asked to come back to Lubbock to face the music, the station reports, but he seems to be AWOL. Read the full article. (More professor stories.)
