If the audiotape of Mel Gibson screaming obscenities at his ex-girlfriend is authenticated, the actor could have more than an epically nasty custody battle to worry about: His threat to burn down Oksana Grigorieva's house "could be considered a criminal terrorist threat," a legal expert tells Fox News. The Department for Child and Family Services is already on the case—racist tirades aren't a great way to expand 8-month-olds' vocabularies—and "police department or a prosecuting agency" could get in on the action.

"A terrorist threat can be anything designed to induce harm or kill another individual," says the expert. "It doesn’t have to come from Al-Qaeda to be classified as terrorism." (More Mel Gibson stories.)
