Upstate NY Town Has Chelsea Fever

Guess who's getting married in Rhinebeck?

(Newser) – The small Upstate New York town of Rhinebeck is abuzz with all things Clinton these days—former first daughter Chelsea Clinton will reportedly wed her fiance Marc Mezvinsky at John Jacob Astor's former estate at the end of the month, reports the New York Daily News. "There's this insane buzz," says one resident. "You can't walk down the street without someone asking about Chelsea's wedding."

The date had long been rumored to be July 31st, but the location was a secret only to be revealed to a select 400 guests in the week before the nuptials. Secret, schmecret. "It's a done deal," a local real estate agent tells the Daily News. And the 50-acre Astor Court, which overlooks the Hudson, is just perfect for the Clintons: "It's hidden, easy to secure and just majestic," says one local.
