Finally, a Decent Predator Sequel

Worthy follow-up to Schwarzenegger classic only took 23 years

(Newser) Predators is getting mostly decent reviews as a sequel to the alien-hunting-humans original, 1987's Predator. Adrien Brody stars.

  • Lou Lumenick, New York Post: "After 23 years and three attempts, Predators finally delivers a solid sequel to the Arnold Schwarzenegger B-movie classic."
  • Kurt Loder, MTV: It's "a B movie that knows its job, and does it. Which means, among other things, that making sense is not on its to-do list."

  • Eric D. Snider, EricDSnider.com: This sequel wisely "takes the story back to its jungle roots." It's not great, "but it's good enough, executing its simple premise with tension and testosterone to spare."
  • Claudia Puig, USA Today: Meh. "The fascination wears off as the initial premise never becomes fleshed out and plot holes loom larger than the monstrous mayhem."

First off this is not a B movie. Those are the movies you see on Scifi and never heard of. Secondly what the phuck Adrien Brody. What kind of casting director thinks up Adrien Brody for the lead role for freakin Predator.

The original featured two future state governors. I wonder how many are in this one.
