After weeks of talk about Mel Gibson's violent relationship with his babymama, California cops are finally getting involved, reports People. They've launched an investigation to determine if Gibson has been guilty of domestic violence. "The detective is currently gathering information regarding the allegations" by Oksana Grigoreva, said a statement by the Los Angeles sheriff's Malibu office. Shouldn't be too tough to prove, fellas, since Grigoreva has a recording of Mel admitting he punched her—twice—because she "deserved it." (More Mel Gibson stories.)
