(Newser) – Charlie Rangel may be facing some serious ethics charges, but he's not about to discuss the possibility of losing his job. Luke Russert of MSNBC (son of Tim) found that out today when he asked Rangel if were worried, notes Mediabistro. Rangel dismissed it as a "dumb question," asked Russert what station he was from, and added, "Well you're young, I guess you do need to make a name for yourself." Russert pressed on, much to Rangel's dismay. Watch it in the video.

He certainly patronized the hell out of Luke Russert AND MSNBC, too. I don't think Rangel is ready for prime-time. I appreciate that Russert didn't lose his composure like Rangel certainly did.

Rangel, not knowing who he was talking to....Luke Russert having only his father's example...already has a NAME that stands for solid journalism and integrity. Something Rangel wouldn't recognize.
