(Newser) – Authorities have found some solid evidence linking Pfc. Bradley "BradAss87" Manning with the secret Afghan war logs released by Wikileaks. Manning had not been stationed in Afghanistan, and authorities doubted he had the know-how to acquire the information. But a search of his computer revealed evidence that he had indeed downloaded the logs, the Wall Street Journal reports.

The search was conducted in part to determine what other data Manning may have made off with; Wikileaks says it still has 15,000 documents it's holding for redaction. They’re also trying to find any help Manning might have had, particularly in getting the material to Wikileaks.
