(Newser) – The Heat's season tickets sold out even before LeBron James officially announced he was leaving Cleveland for Miami, so the next step feels inevitable: The team has fired the 30 people hired to sell season tickets, the Miami Herald reports. "They let us go because there was really nothing left to do anymore," says one of the newly unemployed sales reps. Says a ticket broker, who puts the entry-level price for a ticket at $250, "They're probably the hottest tickets in the country."

The Heat Org. seems to be running high on it's own exhaust fumes. However everyone should not despair. The money has now shifted to the ticket-brokers, who will also need good salespeople. Always follow the money -- especially if you're a salesperson in any business. Should be interesting to see the continuing Soap Opera un-fold in Miami.
