Bust out your importance-of-voting cliches: In the Republican primary for a congressional seat in Michigan, Dan Benishek led Jason Allen by one vote: 27,091 to 27,090, the Detroit Free Press reports. The race itself matters, however: The winner will vie for the seat of retiring Democrat Bart Stupak in the fall, and it's seen as a toss-up no matter who the GOP candidate is.
