Until recently, Glenn Beck had a pretty eyebrow-raising tweet on his “favorites” page on Twitter. On Monday, the StopBeck blog noticed that the top tweet on Beck’s favorite page was from MalevoFreedom, a white supremacist account that uses the neo-Nazi Stormfront logo as its Twitter icon. The tweet listed a link for a “White Nationalist message board,” and then finished with “Embrace White Culture @GlennBeck WHITE-PRIDE.”
Hours after StopBeck’s post went up, Beck's entire favorites page disappeared, but archived images show the message had been promoted on it since at least July 8. And to get there, Beck or someone maintaining Beck’s Twitter account would have had to actively marked it as a favorite. MalevoFreedom’s own bio lists it as a “White Nationalist News And Forum” located in “White America.”
