Montana Fishburne: I Want to Be Porn Star, Not Actress

As opposed to, you know, regular movies

(Newser) – Well, now it all makes sense: Montana Fishburne appeared to be setting out on an ill-advised path toward traditional fame with her homemade porno…but it turns out she just wants to be a porn star. “I am not in porn to get into acting. I am in porn because I wanted to be in porn,” she tells People. “It's something I always wanted to do. I have always been comfortable in my body and with my sexuality.”

She says she moved out of dad Laurence Fishburne’s house when she turned 18 “so I could pursue what I want to do without being constrained,” and filmed the sex tape without telling her parents “so I didn't give them a chance to talk me out of it.” She hopes her dad—who was upset when he heard the news—will one day “be proud of me.”

It's important for young people to follow their dreams. Let's all be honest here and acknowledge that show business success is like winning the lottery. It's a fluke. Her dad won a lottery. I mean it's not like he went to medical school or something. Can we please step out of the celebrity worship daze that the mainstream media attempts to put us all in? Black people have IQs that skew to the lower end of the scale anyway so things like this come as little surprise. Camden NJ is closing all their libraries! Shocking!

I do feel sorry for her dad, but maybe if he'd been around when she was growing up, she wouldn't be doing this.
